Cost of setting up a free zone company in Dubai and the UAE

While the cost of setting up a company in the UAE can vary from free zone to free zone, for the majority of business types (business activity categories), you’ll find that the costs are going to be rather similar across the free zones that cater to your particular industry.

To give a very broad range, depending on how many shareholders there are or visas you require, cost of setup can range from 9,000 AED to 35,000 AED.  You’ll of course need to factor in that licences are usually renewable on an annual basis, so you can expect to receive an invoice for about the same amount each year.

The good news is that many of the larger company setup providers offer financing packages, allowing you to pay for your license over the course of many months in installments, thus easing the financial burden associated with initial setup or renewal.
