Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) was developed with the aim of attracting international marine industry leaders to the UAE. The free zone features a broad range of maritime facilities tailored to shipbuilding and repair including workshops, warehouses and dry docs. DMCA is also home to an academy which runs programmes in marine engineering, naval science and more. The free zone is split into six individual zones: The Academic Quarter, The Harbour Residence, Harbour Offices, the Industrial Precinct and the Marina District.
